Usenapp for iOS and iPadOS

A couple or so years Alain suggested you might consider developing a build for iPhones and iPads. I still believe this would be a most welcome addition. None of the current iOS / iPadOS apps meet the standards set by Usenapp.

I too would very much welcome an iOS/iPadOS version of Usenapp. While I do occasionally go to Usenet on my iPad, I almost always use my iMac because Usenapp is so much more user-friendly.
You said a couple of years ago that you had no plans to do this, but hopefully the situation has changed?

I’d be willing to pay an extra fee if it meant that I could use Usenapp on my Apple iPad Pro!

I would love to be able to use Usenapp on iOS. I’ve got so comfortable using it on the MacBook, anad would love a similar experience on iOS, especially if there was a way of syncing them. Oooo - that would be lovely. And yes, I too would be more than happy to pay an additional fee.

Sara NewsTap offers syncing by various means including iCloud so one would hope it could be done with a version of Usenapp.

That goes for me too. I would never expect an iOS/iPadOS version to be bundled in with the MacOS version.
Oh, and as long as I’m still around, I’d be happy to help with beta testing.

I don’t expect an IOS/MacOS version coming anytime soon, but who knows one day.

Hi Andre! Would like to breath some fresh air into this topic!
I would suggest a SUBSCRIPTION to the iPad app, say $3 a month.
Imagine you have 100, 250, 1000 users - who probably forget to cancel for a few months, once they activate it on holiday etc.
Not sure if it’s doable - Not sure if Apple would even allow it - but if it was marketed as a browser / replier to posts, but had this on the backend, ….. it could be a ‘win win’.

I quite happily pay $1 per month to Reeder (rss app) - and consider that my ’mobile cost of being connected to my feeds! Am sure many ppl here would be quite happy to pay $3 per month, whilst they are away from home etc., to help suppor it!

What do you think..?!
