Otto If I may followup to my post, I have been able to remove all of the articles and stop any further downloads from the groups I am no longer interested in. The newsgroup title is grayed out but I can’t delete the title from the subscription list so that I can have a listing of only the newsgroups I am interested in.
Boffin Otto’s problem may have been solved, but I would like to know the answer to his original question. I have subscriptions to two newsgroups that I no longer use and they are cluttering up my list of groups. Is there a way to excise them?
Boffin Belay that - I have discovered the answer. It was hidden in plain sight. I just didn’t grasp the significance of the command.
