Deleting a post from SuperSearch

Can you delete multiple spam posts from SuperSearch? It’s difficult to filter out posts when they are constantly changing subjects and posters.

No, that’s not possible.
SuperSearch is a search engine (like Google), and you can’t delete messages from it.
You can exclude messages by prefixing them with a dash (-), but that’s not ideal for filtering spam.

How do you prefix a message with a dash? I’d like to try that. It would be very helpful to those of us who are not experienced in programming filters to have a detailed Help document for the complete dummy on how to 😉.

Oh, and when you create a filter do you have to Apply or Apply All or will it be applied to the newsgroups and next startup and become active for all?

That is only possible in SuperSearch.

I got it. Thanks. Still having issues though. Resetting only worked for a day so I may just delete the app entirely and start over fresh.
